|About Lisa Hassler|
Lisa, along with her husband and three children, lives in an historic Sandwich home, built for workers of the Boston and Sandwich Glass Factory. She specializes in historic real estate and has a bachelors degree in interior design. This enables her to recognize and highlight those unique architectural features, like gunstock corners and parson's cupboards, that make an older home special. Lisa belongs to a variety of local and national preservation organizations such as: National Trust for Historic Preservation, Historic New England, Trustees of the Reservation, Thornton Burgess Society and Heritage Museums and Gardens. She is a member of the Cape and Islands Association of Realtors, as well as the Massachusetts and National Association of Realtors. Through the resources provided by these organizations, she continues to educate herself about issues relating to historic preservation and real estate in general. Lisa enjoys blogging about issues of interest to old home enthusiasts here, and maintains this website especially targeted for those looking for an antique homes.
Lisa enjoys taking advantage of all that Cape Cod has to offer, including kayaking in the marsh creeks, attending local plays and music venues, and walking along the beach with her mini-schnauzer, Hazel (who won best kisser at Sandwich fest!).
